As Internet of Things (IoT) applications grow, the global energy industry becomes a prime target for deliberate malware, as planned attacks can wreak havoc on reliability, serviceability, and public trust. One of the most famous incidents was the 2015 Christmas blackout in Ukraine, which followed a series of cyber attacks on local energy companies that left much of the region without power. Similar incidents show that the power system network is the most important basic equipment related to the national economy and people's livelihood. Up to now, power system network security is the earliest and most comprehensive network security application in the industrial field.
